Your first workspace
Connect a source, review your first objects, and begin working with the ontology.

1. Open your organization workspace
Sign in to your organization's nondro instance. You need an account with access to the workspace; connecting a source also requires permission to author sources. If your role has a dedicated home application, you may land there first.
For this walkthrough, choose a small source your team is authorized to use and identify one business concept to model, such as projects or assets. Have the appropriate connection details ready. Source credentials belong in the connection setup, never in a conversation.
2. Connect a system
Open Connections and choose Connect a system. Select the connector, give it a stable name using capital letters, digits, and underscores, and complete the fields for that source. Choose Test and save. A Google Drive connection can instead guide you through Google sign-in when that integration is configured.
The saved connection name is the reference used by definitions, pipelines, and applications. Use Check connection when you need to verify reachability. A connection makes a system available; the next step defines what your team will use.
3. Explore and review
On the connection, choose Explore data. Source discovery shows the datasets and relationships the connector can inspect. Select the relevant proposals and choose Create selected drafts. Enable Include object types, mappings, and relationships when those suggested definitions are appropriate.
Review the names, property types, source mappings, relationships, and sensitive fields. Discovery creates drafts. A person with promotion authority must review the applicable findings and promote a definition before it becomes live. Some sources require definitions to be supplied explicitly instead of discovered.
4. Work with the model
Open Ontology to explore the definitions. Select a node for its details and available data, context, or actions. Use Search or Browse objects to find your way around. The conversation dock lets you ask about what you can access or request a draft change.
Use Decisions to review requests assigned to you and Apps to open published tools available to your role. For a first check, confirm that the expected source, object definition, and permissions are visible before building a larger workflow.
